Last year,I had worked a little on the motor to get it running at a normal speed. Also one of the side connector wires on the turn signal relay had broken from its rivit and was sodered back on in ancient times. When i was working on the motor, that soder broke loose so I redid it. After that, everything worked fine for a year. Although I did not even use the emergency flashers, so I dont know whats with them not working. Last week, a shop changed out the motor mounts, tranny mount and soft plugs, but there are no wires down there right? Also I need to know does the white with red stripe wire from the emergency flaser under the dash go direct to the trunk and what color is it when it gets there? Itblows the 20A fuse even with the whole pack in the trunk disconnected. It may need replacement as I can't find any bare wire even with the rear seat out.

Sorry Harley E. its a 1965. BUT......Its all fixed now. The electronic pack fixed the brake lights and the turn signals. Works like new ! My old stuff was falling apart faster than I could get it unscrewed from the rubber pad. The person who came up with that should be knighted !
The short in the 4 ways was caused from a twisted indicator bulb on the dash. Not the first thing I suspected or looked for. Hey, really, a big thanks for your concern, its good to have a site like this, love it ! To quote Roseanna Roseannadanna of vintage Saturday Night Live "Never mind."
