64 T-Bird Trans

I have a very nice 64 T-Bird with 46,000 miles on it. Due to my health, I haven't driven it in about 4 months. I immediately noticed that the trans was skipping second gear. Changing from first to third. Some guys on my GTO forum suggested I try some SeaFoam before tearing into trans. Do any of you guys have any ideas? All other gears are fine and trans functions like it should except for no second gear.Could problem be due to sitting in garage for 4 months and something has got stuck in trans?

Are you sure it is not shifting from second to third? In the black dot thats what it is supposed to do. In the green dot it should shift 1-2-3. Maybe linkage adjustment?
