Power Steering Pump Replacement

Hi,
I'm having trouble finding a reliable replacement power steering pump for my '65. I'm on my third one from Cardone (from O'Reilly and NAPA) and either they are REALLY noisy or fail after installation.
Does anyone know of a reliable source for rebuilt/new power steering pumps that aren't from Cardone?
The only good news is that I'm getting pretty good at taking them out. Thanks,
Ken

I replaced my pwr steering pump on my '67 .. the orig was leaking badly .. the new one whines but I siphoned some of the trans fluid out and added Lucas pwr steering leak and noise reducer and it is more quiet now .. you might try that .. it can't hurt .. It is not too annoying now and I don't like noise that should'nt be there .. as far as a different source check with John Draxler at Thunderbird Ranch .. let me know .. Gemman

fluid?

I'm not sure about '64 pumps but my '63 requires type "F" tranny fluid.

gemman,
I've been attempting to reach John Draxler by email and phone and have been unsuccessful. Are you sure he is still in business? The last post of his blog is 2011 and I expected him to have an update since then.
