Post Headlights

I've got a stisky problem on my '65 that I just can't figure out. When I turn on the headlights only the left low beam lights while the right low lights but is much dimmer. Also the right high beam "glows" and is apparently getting some power. When I switch the high beams on onlt the left side comes on while both right side lights only "glow". I switched the lamps around and the same thing happens. I changed the voltage regulator per the diagnosis in the manual but with the same result. I've checked all the wiring and can't see any problems. Now what?

Check the ground wires on both sides.

That little seperate ground wire is hard to spot--- it is black and attaches to the radiator support panel. I had a similar problem and that was the culpert.

Joe:
I checked the ground wire. Some fool had installed a plastic wire loop UNDER the grounding wire so the wire did not contact the sheet metal. Unfortunately, that fool was me! Duh! I switched it around so the screw contacted the metal and the headlights now work. Thanks for the tip.
