Post AIR CONDITIONER PROBLEMS

Im wondering if anyone ever came across this problem.Just left the shop with my 1964 thunderbird and was told not only did i need all new vacuuam hoses from fire wall to dash butfor the air to work i neededthe therm controlvalve on the blower housing plusthe temp control unit in console. Can one get these parts and does one have to pull dash completly out . Any help would be appreaciated,THANKSnull

Do you know what these parts are or are you just repeating what you were told? The temperature valve in the blower cage can be bypassed. If you are referring to the main control on the console - the one with multiple hoses - I can supply a used one that has been checked out to be sure it will work as required. You may need to repair or replace some hoses, but I would not think they ALL need to be replaced.Harley [email protected]

Sorry. I realized I didn't answer your questions. You do not need to take the dash out of the car. I doubt that you can find the parts you mentioned NEW.
