Post Landau roof trim at quarter panal

I need to re-plate my chrome roof trim at landau roof line (at quarter panal). I am sure there is a more offical/technical name for this part. I located a very good plater that does specialty work (Advance Plating). However, there is a machine finish in the center line of the chrome trim. I can;t find someone who can recreate this machine finish. My only option is to have the whole trim piece done completly in shiney chrome. This is not original, but will look great. What do I do. Several T-bird suppliers suggest I look for a pair of prisine ones out there in the market. The issue is that mine are in very good shape (limited pitting) and to replace them (if you can find them, cost at least $250 each).

Check with KEYSTONE. I know of one in Albany NY, here is the phone # (518) 452-7730

they should be able to help out.

I too am in a similar dilema.. I might just paint the center part to match the body or interior (Ivy Gold) color.
