The ol' Dizzy

I am currently doing a build up on a 66 390 (cause it's what I have n was in very good condition)and needed advice on the distributor. I'm going to run a roller cam with rocker arm assembly to match. Was interested to see what stock ford parts (with rebuild and upgrades) would be best for my application OR if the would work at all. How well would the stock one do with rebuild, calibration and Petronix ? Would the later ones work? Like '73 n later with upgrade n rebuild? And to the aftermarket end; who makes a distributor that's worth what they charge? Also, If anyone here has built what I'm looking at doing (and I'm sure you have) can you give me a good combo for my engine? Ya know, parts, names n such. Thanks.
