Post More Brake Problems

Somewhat related to the previous post is a problem I'm having with the brakes on my '65. When I step on the pedal the car stops fine but the pedal doesn't come up off the floor. I can pull it up with my toe and it releases just fine. I read somewhere that this is something familiar and easily fixed but now I can't find the source. Anyone have a similar problem and know how to remedy it?

I think both you and Sol have booster problems.

Joe:
The brakes work fine and don't fade or anything. The pedal just won't return properly.

Rog, the return spring is incorperated in the booster. Unless you have a bind somewhere in the mechanisem this is the probably the problem.
