'66 tbird 2 different brake calipers?

hi, i am looking for a caliper rebuild kit for a 66, larry's thunderbird says there is a early and a late kit, tbirdheadquarters says there is just one kit. i ordered a kit from autozone (i know i know but i am in a hurry to get the car back on the road) needless to say it was wrong. now i am wondering what to beleive, can anyone confirm or deny this? i know i can buy a new caliper but i realy dont have the money, & i have a hard time justifying spending 100+ for something i can rebuild for 20. thanks in advance

Why don't you tell us what is wrong with the caliper kits you bought? That would help..

hello harley! i used to buy parts from you at the tbird nest! the actual seal in the kit i bought was very close in size but the boot was totaly different the id of the old seal was about 2" the new boot id was about 2.25", also the old boot fit into a groove on the caliper & the new one looked like it just pushed inbetween the piston & caliper. i hope this makes sense. thank

I do believe the Ford Part Book shows two different seal kits.
