Headlights Acting Up

Last year I cleaned all the grounds and replaced the low and high beam bulbs. Worked like a champ all summer. Now that the new season is here and flood waters receded (RI), I took my 66 out for an evening ride. Very strange that right set of lights are bright. Left low beam when only low beams are on are not quite as bright as right. I also noticed a slight lighting of the high beam lamp filaments when lows are only on. Turning high beams on results in nice right hand bulbs working great, left low beam is very dim and left high beam only has filament lit.

Any thoughts before I pull everything apart and reclean, retest. Note that the car was in heated and dry garage since fall. Thanks for any inputs.

Regarding the lights, I'd put a set of relays on them. It'll help the brightness, and yes...you may need to clean 'em up. try putting on some dielectric grease on them this time so they don't corrode/eliminate the guess of "is there--or not good contact"

I only state this because I rewired my car and just some precautions in my opinion.

good luck.
