windshield washer pump install questions

OK. This is the last help request thread for a while hopefully. car is ready to run, just want to have my windshield washers operational.

I need the washer pump and the bag of course. Plan on getting them from MAC's... unless someone knows a cheaper place...ANYWAYS, the question is:

I see the washer is actuated at the same location the wipers' actuator linkage is at. SO I am confused how to get it all wired up... the pump on sale is a electric unit...how does it turn on in relation to the washer's actuating lever located on the dash if that is a mechanical rod? any detailed input/pics much appreciated. I will post pics NOW of the car as it stands so far... be gentle on the critics...remember, the car is supposed to reflect your personality...(whatever lol)...cheers!

THREAD Closed:

Hard to diagnose some things when you build a car that you bought in complete pieces/chaos...

after looking at diagram 7 of section 15-2, noticed there is a switch, not some majical ford electrical trick. I could not locate the switch--found the old switch in the box with old wiring. thanks all for looking!
