Vinyl top replacement advice needed
Bought my "65 Landau a few years ago and have just finished body/paint. Now it is time to install vinyl top. Old top was removed before I bought the car. A few things I am not sure of....to remove top molding of rear window, are special tools required or just pry it off with a knife....what about the front windshield...manuals says to entirely remove windshield...or can I just pull off the molding, peel back the windshield rubber seal and attach new vinyl? And what kind of adhesive should I use? Contact cement or ???
Any tips/advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.
