Repainting interior pieces?
Hi i was wondering if you can repaint interior peices, such as kick panels etc. if so what do i do and what kind of paint would i use? thanks for your help.

I also own a 1966 T-Bird (63A) In an answer to your question.... Although I don't recommend a specific paint to use, the paint that you do use should be able to bind to vinyl or plastic. I just spoke with someone about that tonight at a car show, but I can't rememebr the brand name he mentioned. I will see him next week and fill you in on all the details. Ciao, Tom :) |

I used Dutch Boy exterior on my new 66 kick panels (which came black) and it worked okay. However, I don't know how it would work on other componets.

What is the durability of this paint - kick panels are a 'high-wear' item in a car.
Mine are cracked but I will try and fibreglass the back-side of them first before I go to new ones just because they are already molded in the correct colour. |
