1964 Relays on trunk closing

I'm having trouble with the convertible top. The top goes up and on the last cycle of the trunk closing it will not close. I hear the motor but no movement from the trunk lid. I'm just about to throw in the towel on this one. Any help trouble shooting would be great.

Anyone know of a good mechanic in the Detroit metro area to work on the 64 tbird convt. needs to know the electrical schematics.

Could be several things. The motor you hear may be the deck lock motor. Could be the deck close relay, Deck close limit switch,Upper back panel limit switch out of adjustment and a couple other things. You need the top manual to trouble shoot it and a test light should be enough.
