65 brake rotor question

My son and I just picked up a 65 and we are starting the general maintainence items to make sure everything is good. Can the rotors be turned and if so, has someone found the minimum thickness listed anywhere? We have the original factory service manual, but don't see it listed. I would like to avoid buying $140 rotors if we find they are in bad shape. Thanks for any feedback.
