Disk Brake Kits

Hi I just purchased a 64 T-bird a month ago and want to convert the front drum brakes into disc brakes. Does anyone have any info on kits or piecing one together instead of buying the over priced kits in the catalogs that don't have diagrams? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

phjohnso told me that any 1970 up to a 1979 disc brakes would be a direct bolt on...i have a 64 that i'm working on so i'm getting ready to do this...right after i find the parts.i just got my camera working so i'm going to start some pics of the begining

i hope so i'm getting ready to fit my 64 up with disc. i'm sure there will be some small changes that i need to make to get everything to fit up right but thats ok i want to stop when i need to stop... its your car so do what you want ... its to much work to put it all back to original..so i'm going do some custom work and get creative..

You might want to get a second opinion about '70 thru '79 being a direct bolt-on. And don't forget you will need a dual master cylinder that will fit.
