Easy answer - You can buy a lead additive and add it to the tank when you fill up - You can buy it at any Auto Supply store. Simple and easy... GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I think most people do not add anything to their fuel. I have a 1963 that runs just fine on gas right out of the pump. Lead in the gas was to make the valve seats last longer. With no lead they may only last for two or three hundred thousand miles !
