Question Engine Missing

I have a 390 with about 94,000 miles with a new Holly carb, wires, plugs, rotor, cap and Petronix igintion. After running the car hard or at high speeds it begins to miss but the miss gradually goes away once you gettin back to "normal" cruising speed. I think it may have some "blow-by" due to worn rings although it nevers smokes. You can however smell a little burnt oil when run hard probabaly from the excess crankcase ventilation casued by running the car hard. I'm wondering if it is likley that the plugs are actually fouling a bit from the "blow-by" when driven hard?
Thanks!
