Red face Steering problems!

Hello I'm new here and I'm from Sweden, I'm a proud owner of a 1964 Thunderbird which I bought in 1998. I renewed my vehicle in 2001-03
I have a strange problem with my steering. Hard to explain but if I drive straight ahead and just touches the steeringwheel, right or left the steering responses too much, very sensitive steering!!! I've had the steering alignment checked, I've replaced most of the joints and bushings. I've also renewed the steering gear and replaced the preassure line to the gear.
My front tires are about 8 years old but looks like new (Centennial 225/75R15)
My rear tires are quite bad and I'm changing them next week.
When I replaced the steering gear insulators it behaved a little better.
Hard to explain as I said...

idler arm bracket

I just remember that I replaced the idler arm bushing but I didn't replace the idler arm bracket and it was quite worn. Might this be the problem?

Probably just the adjustment on the top of the gear box to tight. Back it off a 1/4 or half see what happens
