Brake ?

Just got one of the 65's out after being stored all winter and the brake m/c was nearly empty. The m/c and booster appear damp and my assumption is that the m/c is leaking back into the booster. When I parked it last fall all was fine but since I dont know when this happened I can only assume the worst case that it happened back in October and not last week. I plan on changin the m/c but my ? is what are your opinions on the booster. I am curious as what the adverse effects of a leaking m/c into the booster might be. Thanks
p.s. not a newbie here as I used to have the screen name dans65, but at somepoint went brain dead and lost all my passwords.

Well, Did you check the back of your wheels to make sure it wasn't a cylinder? I would check with this booster Guru anyway.

Yes, that was the first thing I suspected even though the m/c booster appeared moist. Actually the wheel cylinders appear new. I will check that other site out also. Thanks

Dan, I had that problem with a 63 chevy i had a few yeras ago. The booster did eventually fail. I suspect it was from the fluid leak. Also on start up i would get white smoke out of my exhuast. Dewey should know for sure Good Luck
