Brake Question

Good day to all, I am new to the forum and T-Bird ownership.
I purchased a 66 and noticed an issue with vacumn booster hose routing it does not seem right. I have brakes the car stops but not like it should, I believe the prior owner messed up, when he removed the smog equipment and attatched in the wrong place, does anyone have any underhood pictures of the hose that would show from booster to vacumn source?
Thanx in advance
Jim

Why do you think it's not stopping like it should? It's an old car, I hope you're not comparing it to a late model. Just asking...

It's a simple routing. From the intake manifold fitting at the right rear of the carburetor, the hose goes over to the booster check valve.

Thank you very much for your intelligent response, the fitting in the intake manifold was missing.

What was wrong with that question? You said the vacuum seemed wrong, so I just wanted to make sure you “at least” considered the fact I mentioned. You didn’t like my question and I didn’t like you answer, so I guess we are even. Sorry if you misunderstood my intent, took it the wrong way, jumped all over my case, and got you feeling hurt…yes..I’m sorry you did that. Next time have an open mind, not everyone is against you.
