Post Dead Radio

The radio died and I hear that there are places out there that will gut the old one and install new state of the art innards in the old radio chassis. Does anybody have a URL \ link to one of these

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, but right now I'm more interested in changing the guts out so I can have FM and a CD player

Cool

A company called Tayman Electrical can rebuild your original AM radio and convert it to a digital AM/FM while maintaining its original appearance. They also offer the entire line of Custom Autosound stereos designed for classic cars. The owner is Gary Tayman who is an active Tbird hobbyist and he specializes in classic Tbird applications. Visit his website at: www.gate.net/~gtayman/. Good luck.

Possible replacement

Also consider http://customautosound.com/Thunderb1.php

They make replacement products that don't require cutting the dash

Thanks for the info, Custom Auto Sound looks like the way to go so far. They have the best pricing.
