Wheel sizes and bolt pattern for '65
I am trying to get some nicer wheels for my 65 but cannot figure out the bolt pattern or just how how big a wheel I can put on my bird. Does anyone know what the bolt pattern would be or where I can go to get that info.

I think a lot of the Forum members have been there. Problem seems to be the calipers on the 65 & 66 models. Bolt pattern is a 41/2 and I believe a 33/4 backspace. Seems its a real hit and miss on wheels which kind of rules out mail order and most dealers don't carry wheels in stock that you can test fit. Hopefully someone out ther has been successful in finding some nice wheels that fit.
