Rear brake hose for the 65
Hi,
My local dealar did not have any information on part numbers for the rear brake hose on the 65 Bird. My question is if any other model Ford around 65 will have the same hose. My dealer had Fairline and Mustang hoses in stock? Thanks Mike |

I don't believe there is an exact replacement. However another, longer hose might do the trick. Thunderbird hose is 13-5/32 long. Longer hoses are used on 65,66 Ford passenger cars, 65,66 Mustang, 65 Falcon, 67-70 Falcon Ranchero & station wagon. They may not mount to the rear axle housing the same way, but you will need to look to see how the brake hard lines attach.

I'm in New Zealand and have the same problem from guys with the best intentions! My '66 is the only Landau in about a 500 mile area and there are NO T-birds or parts in this area.~!! |
