66 390 Price

Don't know where to place this one. I have a 66 390 that is coming out of a Thunderbird with transmission. It is a good running engine and transmission seems to be working just fine. I need to find out how much it is worth either together or separate. Can someone help out please?

First you should tell where you are located...........

The motor is actually worth more if it can be heard running and moving, so you may want to advertise it before you pull it out.
The transmission could be either a cruise 0 matic or a C-6. Personally I think the C-6 is more desireable.

Transmission around $100- $150

Motor? $200 or less if you can't hear run, maybe $300 and up depending on how good it runs.

Just my opinion, have not had to buy one in years.

Thanks for your reply and that helps out alot. It was sitting for about 1 year. I put a charger on the battery for about 5 minutes, pumped the gas and about after a minute of turning the key and pumping the gas, it started. That surprised me, I thought it would take me longer to get it started. I am in the St. Louis area if that is any help.
