Angry Ignition quandry

OK guys I need some help. I have a 65 T-Bird dubbed "Dirty Bird" Have been working on several things at once to include, new Accel super coil, new 8MM Accel wires, and new cap. I have previously installed a Pertronix system and she ran fine. Now she wont start at all. No popping, no backfiring. Motor is a 390 FE.
Wires are in their correct locations. I do have good spark from the coil and spark at the plugs. My question seems to be do I have enough spark at the plugs.

Heard something about a ballest resistor that either I do have and dont need or don't have an do need.

Anybody out there run into a similar problem and how did you correct it?

Thanks,

Ken

ignition

From what you say, it sounds like you are okay with the ignition system so the next step would be to check for fuel delivery.

Getting fuel

Appreciate hearing from you Joe.

Just pulled a plug to double check. Plug is in new shape and was wet with fuel from turning the motor over. Just got a bit nuts too and tried starting fluid. still even with spark through the plug I get no fire. I'm really at a loss.

engine will not run

Are you sure the dist. rotor is turning, if you have spark and fuel the engine should run.

Why would a stock distributor be so tightly set in that it didn't want to turn to time the motor no matter how loose the hold down bold is?

Came out OK for resetting the timing closer to correct But this bugger does not want to turn freely
