perfect tires
Okay...getting your tires cleaned and ready for a show is not easy with whitewalls and the thin whitewall.
I will first lay down a nice coat of tire wet coat shine (Various brands) on the meat of the tire on the outside of the whitewall. Then take a paint brush and do the small portion of the tire between the whitewall and the tire rim. Afterwards I take some goof-off or whitewall cleaner and very carefully clean the whitewalls. This takes a bit of time.... But because I have a tire skirt for the rear tires I then have to move the car and get the other half of the rear tires..... This is quite the project.... Has anyone else found any other way to give your tires that "wet" look while still keeping your whitewalls clean? jim
