6 volt starter
I had my 6 volt starter rebuilt with "high torque" coils and replaced my battery cables with "00" welders cable. This was done upon the recommendation of the rebuild shop.
It now cranks over as fast as any 12 volt starter. It cost about 180 not including the new battery but was well worth it. |
