Post brakes lock up

i have power brakes and replaced all the wheel cylinders and have adjusted my brakes; however every once in a while my brakes pull hard to the right and sometimes the right front brake locks up completely. I have also replaced the master cylinder. I think it might have to do with the power brake booster. When the front wheel locks if you pump the brakes a few times the wheel frees up. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Sorry I don't have the luxury of power brakes on my 57 - but just a thought - have you checked you springs and shoe alignment in the right front wheel? maybe something came undone.

I've tried to post a reply to this twice but didn't get posted. I had that same problem with a car in the past. It turned out to be the brake hose to the wheel. It looked OK on the outside but was collapsing on the inside when the brake was released and not allowing the caliper to release. Like pressure when the brakes were applied and suction when released.

Well I know this is 3 years after the fact...but I hope it helps..... I have a 57 with power brakes and man were my brakes scary! I replace EVERYTHING but the hard brake lines.....and it turns out that the rubber hose from the booster to the block on the frame was collapsed on the inside. I bet if I would have started with this one piece...it would have fixed my problem. (incidentally.....I used a hand bent hard line to replace it because it was so close to the engine). Drives great now!
