poor man's frame rotisserie
Not having access to a frame rotisserie wasn't a problem for a fellow enthusiast. He lifted the body from the frame, but left the front and rear suspensions, as well as wheels and tires on his frame. He then took both wheels off one side of the car, and with three friends lifted the entire assembly onto the tires of the other side, with the frame now in the vertical position. He chained it up to the roof rafters of his garage for safety, to prevent it from falling over, and had access to three sides of his frame in relative comfort and ease. When he was done those frame sections, back came the three friends, the unit was placed back in its normal position, wheels were again installed and the wheels on the other side were removed. The process was then reversed and the remaining frame sections treated. Try it if you don't have a rotisserie, and you'll be very pleased with the results.
