missing brake fluid

OK...I'm lost. Went out to the garage this spring found that the dot5 was all but gone from my mater cylinder on my 57 with power brakes. NO apparent leaks. I pulled the vacumn line off the check valve on the booster and it was bone dry (thank god). I'm thinking its all in the vacum cannister on the booster. Anyone see this before?

jmgtbird,
If I'm correct, I seem to recall that DOT5 is silicone brake fluid? If it is, check your brake light pressure switch, to see if the fluid has corroded it and leaked the fluid onto the frame. It did the same thing on my 55, requiring a change to standard brake fluid (DOT3) and a new brake light pressure switch. Check the archives here for similar threads and you'll find out more.
