Trunk Area - 56 T-Bird
On a 56 T-Bird - between interior compartment and trunk I have nothing but the rubber curtain hanging from inside trunk. Should there be something solid there or just the cardboard kits in the car magazines? Also is there weatherstripping around the trunk? Because there is nothing solid between interior and trunk - when you look outwards you can see daylight along where trunk lid meets trunk. Thanks again for the response.

The '56 uses the same material as the trunk floor material as a hanging curtain between the passenger compartment and the trunk. The cardboard piece you see advertised is used on the '55 only. There should be weatherstrip glued to the trunk lid.
