blower motor heat shield
Putting together a 55 that's been apart for years, and parts keep turning up. Found the heat shield that goes underneath the heater blower motor today. It has a clip for the wiring from the motor to be fastened to, before it goes to the firewall. I'm assuming that the wiring comes from the fan motor, over the TOP of the heat shield to the clip, and then to the fiewall. I've seen a 56 that has the same heat shield, but its motor wiring goes Under the heat shield to the clip and then to the firewall. Logic tells me that the 56's wiring is incorrect. Can anyone shed any light?
