heat in car
Has anyone used thin foil faced insulation (like that wrapped around duct work) to knock down the heat that comes into the car from the engine and trans. Did it have any effect on the engine or trans reflecting the heat back to it.

Rich,
Perform a search using the key word: Insulation. There was a fairly thorough discussion of the subject in Jan. '03. There are also a number of other threads where we wandered off onto the subject of controlling cabin heat. After you use those old threads for some background information, we can pick up where we left off on the subject. Tom D. |
