Windshield Washer Bowden cable routing
I'm working on a frame off restoration of a 57 and am now starting to put it back together, but can't figure out where the washer bowden cable routes through the firewall?? Can anyone help? I bought the car in boxes so I didn't take it apart. null[email protected]

I'm interested in the word "Bowden cable": is that the firewall mounted plunger assembly that has a foot pedal in the interior. You pump it to charge your washer?
If so, the cable goes thru the electrical wire pass thru in the upper right corner of the firewall, as you look at the firewall. Do you know if replacement units are available? My unit is rusted solid, and the rubber plunger is torn. Good luck! |
