Voltage regulator condenser?
Hello
On my 63 voltage regulator there is a lead from the wiring harness connector that goes to a grounding condenser. It looks like a condenser as there is no number left on it. I can't find any reference in the manual for this item or in any parts catalog. It crumbled when I unbolted it to replace the voltage regulator. Any thought to it's purpose, what it actually is or a replacement part? Thanks Nagel |

Hi Nagel,
It is a Radio Noise Suppression Condenser. If you hear a whine in your radio that follows RPM it is used to suppress that noise. If you don't hear it I wouldn't worry about it.
