6volt to 12 volt conversion ?

Hello fellas! . . . im an owner of a 62 tbird. About 6-7 years ago I converted the bird from 6-12volt. It ran perfect and did its job. NOW! I had to replace the 7 year 12v alternator with a new one. My mistake was to give the car to a mechanic to install, and GOD know what the F*@k he did. It just will not work!
Is there some kind of diagram that some one can be nice enough to share so I can check mine out to see what my prob would be!? Any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

You converted 6 volts to 12 volts????? All 1961/63 Thunderbirds came from the factory with 12 volt systems. How did you get 6 volts?
