revering lights

iam trying to get my back up lights to work when i put in reveres they do not come on i tryed moving the neutral safety switchand checked wiring seems ok

Hi Jerry,

I had exactly the same issue and moving the safety switch over while ignition on and in reverse (engine not running ) I got the reverse lights to go on. Tightened the 2 screws and they stopped working, I think the slot needs to be enlarged to move it over another couple of mls.

Check that first and then refer to your wiring diagram, you should be able to test the switch while in car to make sure its' getting power and the switch is working.

As a matter of interest, when I got a roadworthy they let that one go!
