Do you have the instruments out? Where are you with the task to date?

The instrument cluster is still in the car. I am trying to put on a new dash cap.

My question is (was): DO YOU HAVE THE INSTRUMENTS OUT? Meaning the clock, the speedometer and the gauge cluster. If not, remove them first...

Am I repeating myself? Remove the instruments ! Then you can remove the screws/nuts that hold the instrument cluster panel (chrome piece) to the dash.
