Caliper Clearance Issues
Changing out the front brakes on my '61 for '65 Spindle, Rotor, caliper disc brakes. I want to put some American Racing Torque Thrust 2 or Coy C-5 17" Wheels on the car. The vertical measurement of axle center to edge of the caliper is 7 1/2". The horizontal measurement of the lug mounting surface to the edge of the caliper is 1 1/2" inches. Does anyone know if the caliper will clear either one of these wheels?
