NEED HELP pulling door panel in 62 HT

I am trying to work on the door handle and lock system but am having trouble getting the inside door handle off so that i can completly remove the door panel to get to the siside PLease HELP!!!!

Remove the front and rear door panel retainers. Then the arm rests. Remove the door handle and window cranks (if you have any).

There is a retainer clip behind the handle. You can get a tool to remove it at your local parts store, just tell them what you are doing. The clip is U shaped so when it is pushed back it will release. Pull the handle off the stem and away you go
