Here is some more info on the headers. I'll post my thoughts on the product as soon as I get a pair.

No picture yet.

A.J. ,
What we designed was predicated on the fact that there was "NO" room for options ! I thought that our 428 Cobra Jet Mustang header was tight ! We came up with a very nice shorty design One piece 3/8 lazar cut flanges, 1 3/4" tube dia, 16 gauge into a 2 1/2" ball and socket collector. We did not compromise any ground clearance and the std. header includes gaskets , bolts and street hook-ups. $475 in nickel chrome and $650 in ceramic.
Best Regards,
Stan F.P.A. 253 848-9503. :D

If anybody's looking for some, I bought some from Stan and changed my mind. I paid $475.00, will sell for $425.00. These are brand new, never installed and they are beautiful. I just changed my mind and stayed with stock manifolds. E-mail [email protected]

I Love my new Headers!
Huge power gain even with my restrictive mufflers and tail pipes.
I went with the ceramic headers and it dose seem to keep the engine compartment cool. Plus they look good.

Had to remove both motor mounts and tilt the engine to get them in place. I also kept the protective wrap on to help prevent scratching the finish. (I still got scratches)

I do get some vibrations from the pipes, but I did not replace the motor mounts. I haven't decided if I want to replace them with poly or rubber?
Has anybody tried poly?

I also just recently installed an electric fan. Barely noticeable power increase.

Next an electric water pump? Hmmm... How to mount the Alt. & Pwr Steering brackets?

How tight is the fit on passenger side? I've installed mine on a fresh 390/C6 conversion and have some rub on shock tower. I've yet to try repositioning trans and motor on there mounts; hope to find at least 1/4-1/2"

SORRY It took so long to get back to you. I missed your post.

Anyway I think I've got more room on the Left side then the Right.I'm sure there is a 1/4 in. on the Right. I need a feeler guage for the Left. But my mounts are all a bit flat. I also see a spot were the pitman arm rubs the collector.

Hows that C-6 convertion working out? The shift linkage on the Cruise-o-matic had to be bent just a little to clear my exhaust pipes. I think I'll be able to fix this when I put in some new pipes.
