New T-Bird Owner Needs Help!

Hi Fellow Bird Freaks!

I just bought my first! A white 63 hardtop in amazing condition. The only problem is it has been in a barn since the original owner died 20 years ago. The car runs great, but I had to straight wire it cuz the original keys are lost. I ordered a new cylinder and switch from Larrys T-Bird, but I need to remove my old one. How does it come out???? I have pushed and twisted to no avail. Also.... Who are the best parts dealers to deal with?? I know Larry's has been around for years, are there other good ones??

Thanks!
Branden

It is necessary to push and twist the switch on the back side toward the dash panel while holding the switch bezel. I think you twist the switch counter-clockwise looking at it from the underdash direction. You will be turning the switch in the bezel.
