New T-Bird Owner Needs Help!
Hi Fellow Bird Freaks!
I just bought my first! A white 63 hardtop in amazing condition. The only problem is it has been in a barn since the original owner died 20 years ago. The car runs great, but I had to straight wire it cuz the original keys are lost. I ordered a new cylinder and switch from Larrys T-Bird, but I need to remove my old one. How does it come out???? I have pushed and twisted to no avail. Also.... Who are the best parts dealers to deal with?? I know Larry's has been around for years, are there other good ones?? Thanks! Branden |

It is necessary to push and twist the switch on the back side toward the dash panel while holding the switch bezel. I think you twist the switch counter-clockwise looking at it from the underdash direction. You will be turning the switch in the bezel.
