1963 convertible trim
I am looking a 63' roadster that will need a repaint. How do you remove the fender trim and emblems & how hard is this to do usually? I have done some body work in the past, but when I asked an older bodyman he made it sound like this was going to be some huge ordeal to remove these.
Help please. Todd |

I expect you are referring to the stainless steel peak moulding. I just pry them off with a putty knife. Use a shop rag to avoid paint damage. Once you get the removal started, I think you can twist the moulding to pop it off.
