pulling 63 tbird motor
so, i have the shop manual, followed it to a T, but the motor still wont budge. the only sketchy part i had was when the manual called for me to remove the lower tranny cover, and the cover housing. i took all the flexplate to converter nuts off after removing the cover and looked around for anything else that could be holding on besides the lower tranny bolts... but i cant see anything. i also took the two bolts out of the isolator, and the bolt that goes from the mounting bracket into what looks like a crossmember bracket for the suspension.
any ideas?? |

It won't budge? Did you unbolt or remove the engine mounts? With the motor mounts loose, it should at least "budge".. Did you remove the torque converter housing to engine block bolts? Reply directly, if you prefer. [email protected]
