Question 63 ENGINE SWAP-390 to 429
Has anybody done an engine swap for a 63 T-Bird? My 390 is ready to poop out. I bought a 429 with a C6 for cheap. Can this be shoe-horned without too much modifications? What about the tranny linkage. Any help is much appreciated.

You will need to re-engineer the linkage. Been there, done that.
