Roadster Horsepower
Hi,
Just bought a 1962 sports roadster, so please be patient with an ignorant newby. Does the sports roadster (Z motor) have the same horsepower as the standard convertible? I read one review that said the roadster was a little higher than the standard 300hp, but not as high as the 3-2 M code. Thanks for your help. Cj |

Horsepower
Only two powerplant options were available for 1962 and 1963 Thunderbirds. The 390 four barrell (Z code) was rated at 300 horsepower. The 390 six barrell (M code) was rated at 340 horsepower. [email protected]
