T-bird in Oz

Hi Guys,

I have recently purchased a 1963 Thunderbird hard top, which needs restoring.
The car seems to be straight and pretty much original, however some parts are needed to complete the car. I live in Australia, and as you can imagine,
it is difficult to acquire parts. Does anyone recommend any parts suppliers in
the USA? It is difficult when you cant visit such places, however my love to restore this car will not let anything to get in my way. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Cheers
ozbird63

What parts would you be needing?

Hi Fordman,
I would like parts such as a headliner, seatcovers and a trunk lock assembly, tail light lens, washerbag. I am also missing a hubcap (spinner type) and other miscellaneous items. There might be more things, as I progress with the restoration.
Also, where could I purchase assembly manuals and shop manuals for 1963 T-Bird.
Cheers mate
Nick

ozbird63,
I've heard better things about Dennis Carpenter @ www.dennis-carpenter.com and Thunderbird Headquarters @ www.tbirdhq.com

I've heard lesser things about Larry's Thunderbird & Mustang.

I personally have not used any of them yet!
