61 Bird Tubular Push Rods
Anyone ever seen a 1961 Thunderbird 390 Cu.In. Engine with Tubular Push Rods? The rods have ball and socket at the top. Intake Manifold is C1AE9425B Driver's Exhaust Manifold is C1SE8431A. I think it is a Police engine but my Tune Up Specs don't show a Police Engine for 1961. Thanks

CORRECTION to above message: Pulled the rocker arms off today to discover the push rods were solid rods . The ball & socket at the top of the rod was the ball of the rod mating with the manual (lash) adjuster. It still appears I have a 390 with solid lifters.
