rocker arm adjustment on the 3.8?
88 3.8, I replaced the head gasket and when i tightened the rockers back down I didnt know how to ajust them. I just tightened them down until tight. Is this ok or is there a certain way to do it? the car is not running good now. one cylinder wont fire. getting fuel and fire. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor. compression seems ok.

The great thing about Ford is the distributor is up front and the rockers need no adjustment (unlike goofy Chevy).. Simply tighten them down as much as you wish and feel secure.
